All clients have rights and responsibilities when accessing Occupational Therapy services at reable

You have a right to
health care.
You have a responsibility to:
Be on time for appointments (We may not be able to see you if you are late)
Let us know if you need to cancel your appointment

Be listened to
Be treated with respect and without discrimination
You have a responsibility to:
Treat other clients and staff with respect and without discrimination (Action may be taken against non-respectful behaviour)

Good and safe care

Follow the advice given
Or feel free to let the staff know if you can’t follow the advice

Tell staff what you do and don’t like about our services. We will look into this fairly.

Give us accurate information and let us know if there are changes to your health or lifestyle

If you have concerns about the aged care you are receiving, you can:
talk to your provider, in the first instance
speak with an aged care advocate on 1800 700 600 or visit opan.com.au, for support to raise your concerns, or
contact the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission on 1800 951 822 or visit its website, agedcarequality.gov.au. The Commission can help you resolve a complaint about your aged care provider.
